We are seeking a Low Voltage Installation Technician for our client who is a leading provider of security systems, alarm monitoring, access management systems, and commercial locksmith service.
Services commercial customers--no residential
The installation technicians will install, service, troubleshoot and maintain:
- Security and fire alarm systems
- Closed Circuit Television
- Digital Video Recording
- Card Access
- Door Control
- Pull and run wires & cables
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Electronics or Computer Systems (they would need to be someone who loves the computer, but, doesn't want to sit and stare at a screen all day)
- Must have their own hand tools--all the power tools are provided
- Will be driving company trucks

Location: Southwestern suburb of Minneapolis, MN

Job Description:
Providing technical support and assistance in pre-production and production areas is the main responsibility for this senior technician. This includes maintaining communication with production and office personnel for assistance in resolving production problems, reporting activities to engineering management, developing technical knowledge in engineering and related fields and recommending methods and actions for increasing efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years experience in the manufacturing industry with medical devices
- A working knowledge of CNC and manual machining
- Strong CNC programming skills
- Excellent communication skills
- CAD skills would be an added asset
