Direct Position
Location: Southwestern Suburb of Minneapolis, MN

- Report to and take direction from Project Manager
- Manage the daily activities of technician on-site, including subcontractors
- Ensure daily on-site clean up and policies/procedures are followed
- Ensure all policies and procedures outlined in the Install Manual are followed
- Manage the daily field operations of each installation
- Read and follow CAD drawings
- Organize tasks and direct technicians
- Safely operate various types of powered hand tools
- Run cable through walls, ceilings, floors, conduit
- Make proper connections to all cabling
- Install hardware, mounts, equipment in various type of ceilings/walls
- Test all equipment on-site
- Assist Project Manager with product returns
- Arrange customer training with Project Mgr
- Maintain vans, assist designers with on-site inspections, perform service calls
- Maintain positive customer services
- Contribute to department processes, products, new tools
- Contribute unique/creative ideas to provide customers with "outrageous" service!!

- Make proper connections to all cabling

- Ensure daily clean up on-site and in warehouse
- Daily sheets and receipts to Project Manager
- Assist Project Mgr with product returns, repairs and change orders
- Report Change Orders to Field Supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness, maintenance and mileage log of team van
- Assist designers with on-site inspections when available
- Perform service calls
- Update Project Manager of tool/hardware shortages
- Assist Department Supervisor in maintaining install areas
- Maintain positive customer service during on-site installs
- Research and recommend new products/tools/vendors
- Contribute creative ideas to provide customers with "outrageous" service!

Duties & Responsibilities:
Develops, produces, and supervises other in the preparation of structural CAD drawings on medium to large projects of a moderate to high complexity with minimal supervision. Responsible for team effort to perform work on complex projects in a professional manner within the limitations of budget and schedule.
Qualifications:
- Two year vocational/technical school certificate in architectural or structural CAD drafting
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in the construction industry
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on medium to large projects of moderate to high complexity
- Ability to work independently and make drafting related decisions for self and project team
- Knowledge of Revit software is preferred
